The first Final Fantasy game for the PlayStation 2, and judging by the screenshots and movies we've already seen of it running, easily the best looking game ever created, Final Fantasy X is going to make a lot of Sony and RPG fans very happy when it's released.
Voice-overs will be featured for the first time in the series, utilizing the Facial Motion System. High-polygon, motion-captured player characters, designed by Tetsuya Nomura, bring lifelike realism to the screen. The camera will automatically shift its perspective to correspond with the movements of the characters, a feature now possible due to the title being largely polygonal. Characters will be able to rotate in and out of the party even in the heat of battle, allowing a tag team approach to fighting.
FINAL FANTASY X is one of the top-selling PlayStation 2 games with a total of 4 million units shipped in both North America and Japan. Sales of FINAL FANTASY X have propelled the life-to-date sales of the series to an astounding 38 million units worldwide.
The Story to FFX is that your an 19 year old guy named Tidus, who is a professional Blitzball player and one day, Sin a powerful monster comes and destorys the arena, You an Aron (Tidus dads friend) get sucked inside of Sin and are taken 1,000 years into the future. You then meet up with Yuna and her friends and it is now your job to destroy Sin, which later on you find out that Sin is your farther.
FFX is out on PS2 and is the best Final Fantasy game i've ever played on, so Final Fantasy X-2, must be better.
